I didn't notice an announcement on the list so just in case anyone didn't
know...
Over the past couple of months there have been periodic questions on this
list from those of us who were having problems with Universal Translator;
e.g., inability to specific projections when importing shape files. This
was quickly identified by the folks at Northwood Geoscience and MI tech
support as attributable to a conflict with Vertical Mapper. Workarounds
were offered and the promise of a fix. [As an aside, I recently saw a
criticism of support from Northwood Geosciences in a message here. I've
found these guys to be quick and helpful at responding to my problems to
this list, even if my question didn't even mention them or their products.
Nothing but praise from this corner of the globe.]
Well the updated VM 2.1.1 is available from the Northwood Geoscience
website, www.northwoodgeo.com Downloaded mine yesterday.
