Just a quick note to those Euro and UK users who may be interested in this
type of Software. As one of the beta sites we have been very keen to see a
break from US style Landscape Raytracers which are great if we want like to
see how we would have looked if the great creator of this place had given
us the Coordinates currently occupied by Arizona.
Anyway the Wales example, a place not too far from here, is a very close
facsimile of the real place the hedges and rivers are all there and the
whispy hedge lines complete with trees are very life like. All this data
came from Vector information originating within Mapinfo and imported by
GenesisII from MIF. Working closely with Kevin has shown him not only to be
very keen to capture traditional UK landscape features including the
Ancient hedgerows which play such an important factor in our landscapes,
but also allow easy transfer of supplemental data from MapInfo.
Genesis II is certainly looking to be a worthy addition to any MapInfo
users toolkit if they are interested in elements of Landform or Landuse.
