Use the Assist button to create an expression to update the column. Use
the Distance() function and as arguments use the X and Y coordinates of the
known point (assuming that you have these already), CentroidX(obj) and
CentroidY(obj), and "mi" (or whatever the units that you want.) Look up
these functions in the manuals (dare I say RTFM?) or the help system.
