Can anyone give me a short review of this book: "Crime Mapping
Case Studies: Successes in the Field" by Nancy La Vigne and Julie
Wartell, eds., 1998, ISBN #: 1-878734-61-X (see
http://www.policeforum.org/home/public/flyer.html). Is it worth
$20?
I'm looking for examples, web pages or applications, etc. that
discuss issues of using GIS & GPS in searches for fugitives over
large areas (but another similar application might be search and
rescue). I'd trying to determine where the state of the art is.
I'll summarize the results.
