Hakim,

If you give your friend MapInfo Tables (TAB,ID,MAP,DAT,IND) the MapX will be
able to read them. A Geoset is a definition of a collection of tables
similar to a Workspace. So if you have a "map" you want to set up for him
you will need the Geoset as well.

Subject: MI Data for MapX

Dear all,
A friend of mine said that his software is running MapX as part of its
mapping function. He would like me to prepare digital map for him. How
do I go around to know the format of MapX map data ? I'm very familiar
with Mapinfo. If I prepare the data in Mapinfo format(with tab,dat etc)
will that be sufficient or I need to prepare Geoset format.

A.Hakimi
