Tim:

Superprint has a driver for printing to a .tif file. You can set the
resolution you want. Check out Superprint at http://www.zeno.com/
I have found Superprint quite useful for a number of applications.

Hope this helps.

Subject: MI Resolution of exported images

Greetings,

I am editing a book that contains several MapInfo-generated maps contributed
by various authors. The publisher would like digital maps with at least
300 dpi resolution in .tif format, though other formats with 300 dpi
resolution
are probably acceptable. When I export MapInfo layouts as .tif or .bmp
files and then pull the maps into Adobe Photoshop, Photoshop indicates
that the resolution is only 26 dpi. In ArcView, the resolution of exported
layers can be set by the user. Is there anyway to do this in MapInfo
5.0, or anyway to have the images come out with the required resolution?

I would export the MapInfo tables to ArcView if I had the data files.
Not only do I not have the data files, but I do not have the hours to
spend recreating dozens of maps.
