Dietrich, the solution may be labelling with a symbol: You can use this trick to generalise if you have more than one point object (from different layers) in the same location: Label with a symbol, and make sure the label anchor point has a different offset for each layer. This will only work if the symbols are part of different tables, but not in a thematic map. To find out which symbol is represented by which letter on your keyboard you may want to use a little utility programme which is part of the OS, called Charset or something (I only have a german WinNT, not sure about the english name. DOS name is Charmap.exe). Kann das sein? Darf das sein? Wenn alle diese Objekte mit denselben Basisdaten geokodiert wurden, dann kann so etwas schon passieren. Wird z. B. auf Ortsmittelpunkte geokodiert, landen Supermarkt, Tankstelle, Kirche, Bahnhof und Postamt alle an einer Stelle und liegen folglicherweise �bereinander. In einem Kartenfenster sieht das nicht sehr anschaulich aus. Ein einfacher Trick schafft hier Abhilfe - vorausgesetzt, die Objekte liegen in einer jeweils eigenen Relation vor: Beschriftung mit einem Symbol. * Alle Relationen werden in einem Kartenfenster dargestellt * F�r alle Relationen, deren Punktobjekte verschoben dargestellt werden sollen, wird Stil �berschreiben gew�hlt. Als Stil wird ein unsichtbares Symbol gew�hlt. (Die Relationen sind jetzt in der Layerkontrolle auf sichtbar eingestellt, aber trotzdem im Kartenfenster nicht zu sehen.) * Die Relationen werden nun mit einem Ausdruck in Form eines einzelnen Buchstaben beschriftet (z. B. "S") * Als Schriftart wird ein MapInfo-Zeichensatz verwendet * F�r jede Relation wird ein anderer Verankerungspunkt und/oder Beschriftungsabstand gew�hlt Wird z. B. als Schriftart MapInfo Transportation und als Ausdruck "K" gew�hlt, werden die Objekte durch ein Fahrrad (K) repr�sentiert. Welches Zeichen zu welchem Buchstaben geh�rt, l��t sich am einfachsten mit dem Programm Zeichentabelle ermitteln (normalerweise zu finden im Startmen�, unter Programme/Zubeh�r).
