My experience with MI DXF export has been that the map objects
export usually without a hitch but that the attribute data are
"apparently" not there.

I say "apparently" because they actually are there but are, for all
practical purposes, invisible, being rendered unbelievably small
and, if I recall correctly, were superimposed somewhere else away
from their parent object.

After much searching into "inner space" by the local AutoCad
distributor's technical person, the attributes were found, but his
opinion was that the work required to bring them to use wasn't a
viable option.

Our work-around was to save attribute data as text labels and
export these as separate DXF files.

It should also possible to manually edit the DXF files and add
command lines for attribute treatment but we have not tried this.
