I would like to say that there are real benefits to spending the extra time researching government sources for data. Maybe you data providers would like to hear a few: 1. Government sources are no bull. That is, the data, methods, and limitations are well documented. Nobody is going to intentionally mislead you or insinuate the data is better than it is. 2. If you build the data into an application, you do not have to charge the client for an additional data license. 3. If a customer has their own copies of Mapinfo, you do not have to put restrictions on how many copies they own. Something government agencies really like. However, I sympathize with the plight of the downtrodden small business trying to compete with THE MAN. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this list, send e-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and put "unsubscribe MAPINFO-L" in the message body, or contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
