Hi, I am facing a peculiar problem in Mapinfo SQL. Consider this simple SQL statement "Select table1.field1 from table1,table2 where table1.field1=table2.field1 or table1.field1=table2.field2" Trying to execute this statement gives an error "No join specified between the tables or invalid where condition" The statement appears perfectly allright to me.It executes without an error in MS-Access. all the columns used in the SQL are character fields. I get the same error in both Ver4.5 and Ver5.0. Thanks in advance Venkatesh K
