For TIGER based maps, MapData is the best alternative. The US Digital Atlas
is the highest quality and most comprehensive product around and is
reasonably priced. It contains streets, highways, landmarks, boundaries and
great MapLoading software that extracts and appends the counties into single
seamless maps.
