Dear Brian,
We found the same problem when we started using MapInfo / MapBasic 4.5 ,
interestingly the problem does not exist in previous versions of
MapInfo. With us it occured everytime we had a query which incorporated
objects from the cosmetic layer. We addressed the problem using the same
solution, of trapping the error and then "resume next". If you find a
more acceptable solution I would be interested to know.
