We have found that printing the files to a print file, then printing the
print file to the printer allows you to name the file, which then shows on
the printer. It's a second step, perhaps, but it accomplishes the first
goal as well as giving you a permanent way to reproduce EXACTLY that output
later. (It assumes that the workspace will die, the data changes, somebody
moves the file etc.)
I've never found a way to do name a LAYOUT window in MapInfo..... but I'd
love to.
