Try TERRASERVER - its a Microsoft tar-baby.

It may not have exactly what you are after but it interestinly has some
imagry for almost every country. What it offers beyond being the largest
on-line data server (well according to Microsoft at least) a vision of where
we may be in the not to distant future.
