Hi Jason, we had the same problem with our registered tif images. The
problem occurred as a result of the number of colours used in the tif image.
To make a long story short we converted all of our images to 8 bit / 256
colours and then in MapInfo we reselected the colour to make transparent;
the selected colour now became transparent.
