My, what an interesting thread...

A "pie 'n' sauce" is also a common delicacy (?) across the ditch in New
Zealand, although I must say that our tomato sauce is almost completely
nothing like ketchup, it being colloquially referred (again, usually by the
male segment of the population) to as "tucker <something-or-other>".  It's
also a popular condiment to the ubiquitous "fish 'n' chips" (aka
'greasies'), and no "barbie" (no, not the doll) is complete without it.

Obviously us antipodean types have a highly refined palette - must be the
sun and all those funny HTML enhanced animals.
