Dear list members

Thanks for all your responses. The overwhelming answer is the poly2point
menu option (Vertical Mapper->Create Grid->Poly2Point) which I am about
to explore.

Thanks again

Subject: MI Vertical Mapper (Line table to point table)

I am brand new to vertical mapper (in fact I have just been handed the
manual). Please correct me if I am wrong, but it appears as if you can't
take a line table with a attribute for height and either use this in VM,
or, convert this to a point table to then use in VM.

My question is: does anyone have a mbx, they would be willing to share,
that takes a polyline and creates points at intervals along it and gives
the point the height attribute that was on the polyline?

Any and all wisdom greatly appreciated.

Thanks
