I have found a couple of references to this topic in the
archive but not an answer that I can use. I have created a number of MI tables
linked to an Access database. The tables will be copied to CD and opened by a workspace. I am using the built in MI link to the
Access tables which I believe uses DAO 3.5. When the data is copied to CD and
opened I get an error telling me that it cannot open the table. This is probably
due to the Jet engine wanting to create the LDB file for the access database. Is
there any way of stopping this?
Unfortunately I will not be able to copy the files to a
read-write drive to change the file attributes!
