Dear All, I have a Mapinfo User plotting raster images to a HP DesignJet 3500 CP. The output contains what is described as "repetition of detail". This problem is not consistent - some plots are OK. Those plots with a problem will be wrong in a different way every time! It does not seem to relate to the file sizes at all. They did not experience this problem plotting from Windows 3.1. Their PC is Windows 98 with a mere 32 meg RAM. The problem occurs whether the plotter is connected directly or is networked. The raster images are TIFFs produced using software with which I am not familiar called T3X2TIFF. I am told that the plotter driver is the latest version downloaded from the Web. Have any of you experienced similar problems with this plotter? Can any of you suggest any solutions or possible causes? Could the low RAM be the culprit? All comments welcomed!
