I apologize for any crosspostings . . . Does anyone know the average size of a Japanese postal code? This 'size' could be measured in anything from average number of households, square miles, or comparable US census unit (tract, blockgroup, block, etc.) Any help would definitely be appreciated. I'm trying to determine whether geocoding to the postal code level would be appropriate for my analysis or if I need to actually geocode to the address. Furthermore, does any sell or know of a company that sells Japanese postal code GIS data. TIA Sincerely, John C.
