Mathew,
Three possibilities that I can think of...
What version of MapInfo is your client using? Version 5, maybe 4.5 as
well, will let you place an MI map window into Corel as an OLE object using
the drag tool. Set the area of the plot using the zoom tool in MI. There
are no resolution problems with this method since the map in Corel is still
a MI object.
If that is not possible you can get acceptable results by doing a screen
dump from a large monitor (at least 17") with the target window maximised.
In an image editor (paint shop pro will do), resample the image, reducing
the physical size while constraining the file size to the what it was
originally for the image. This way it is possible to double a standard
72dpi screen dump to 150dpi which is just acceptable - vectors and text will
still appear pixilated though, so if labels an annotations are required it's
best to do them in Corel.
Finally, when using the Save Window As command, save the window as a Windows
Meta File. Corel makes a much better job of these than .bmp files.
Only the second method will let you place a legend window in Corel. I'm not
sure, but maybe that's because the legend is a child window of the map?
