The Location of the samples you stated below is where. Tried on the CD for
MapInfo Pro, checked the MapInfo and -L sites. with no results. There
not listed in the directory on my hardrive either.

Thanks to all who helped me through this one. My original question was
about
how to extract the chosen string from a semicolon-delimited listbox title.
Some suggested using a global array to populate the listbox, others provided
code for a function to parse the string. I went with the custom function,
kept it generic, and added it to an all-purpose sub/fn library I use.
For an example of such a function, look at
{mapbasic}\samples\mapbasic\lib\strlib.mb (thanks Chris Perry for pointing
this out.)
