Ian,
1) Use Table>Update Column to do a mass
update
2) Perform an SQL Select on the date field for
4/2/99
and
Use the same
Table>Update Column on the 'Selection' you have just made
It is far easier to keep the data in MapInfo, if
you learn the tricks of SQL data handling
