Hi List; Thanks to all who replied to my question "Is there a way to develop a shortest path program in MapBasic?" The general consensus seems to say that this is not practical when dealing with large street networks (my data includes the entire province of British Columbia). For smaller data sets you might get away with a VB application, such as the one provided by Jure Ravnik (thanks!). It seems for this particular application my best bet is a 'canned' package, some of which are: RouteFX from DiabSoft http://DiabSoft.com Maptitude from Calipers RouteView Pro from Dataview (resold by Tetrad Computer Applications Inc. locally) http://www.tetrad.com/MapInfo/usa/miroute.html All of the above (as far as I know) offer developer editions for full integration into MI. Again, thanks to all for the help Tyson Haverkort -- ____________________________________ Tyson Haverkort GroundControl GeoTechnologies Inc.
