Hello Everyone! Any and all advice from the list would be greatly appreciated on this situation: * Tools: MI version 5.0, Adobe Illustrator for Windows * Goal: To create EPS files for brochures and presentation maps * I am creating maps with symbols to indicate transit time and then saving/printing them to Acrobat PDF files. I had successfully used Wingdings for symbols when using a Mac to process the files in Illustrator, but I've switched over to Windows. * I open the file in Illustrator, which only seems to like MapInfo Cartographic. The ad agency and in-house graphics group of my client cannot integrate the MapInfo font. They can work with Wingdings, but now Illustrator won't recognize it. * Is there a Type I font (like Zapf Dingbats) that I can plug into MI? (am I dreaming?) Here's the work-around I'm going to try: * Open second copy of thematic layer and use the label tool to create a symbol smack-dab-in-the-middle to simulate site location. Again, your wisdom and guidance is appreciated.
