Dear all,
I am a relative newcomer to MapInfo and this list and I have a
couple of queries I hope people can help me with.

Firstly: Is there any way of overlaying regions from different tables and
producing a map that will display the density of regions covering any given
point? Basically, from a total pool of tables (representing globally
threatened bird species) I want to be able to show all the areas where any
two tables overlap, where any three overlap and so on, up to about twenty.
It would be nice to be able to display the outcome as both a vector polygon
table for detailed work and as a more basic grid showing how many tables
were present in each square.
Would this be better handled in a product such as ArcView?

Secondly: When using the "Save Window As" function to export an MI layout
to CorelDraw7 I have found that, no matter what export format I use, it
routinely changes the proportions of all the map windows and text objects.
Is there any way round this?

Thanks in advance,

Tim Morrissey
