Hello Halty,
no special drivers for MapInfo - but there are a couple of other issues to
consider:
* it might actually not be the "drawing process" that makes it seem slow;
are you i.e. accessing your data across a network? Check your entire system
for possible bottlenecks.
* the (video card) performance you see in MapInfo will be similar to the
rest of your Windows environment (assuming you run MI under Windows...). So
you might want to check
* if you have the latest (and thus fastest?) drivers for your video card
* if your video card is running in its fastest mode? I have found a HUGE
difference in using 16 bit colour mode and 24 bit colour mode on my built-in
ATI Rage IIC (16 bit being VERY slow!)
* if it's time to upgrade to at faster video card - 2D, mind you!
