Bob, I recently installed 5.0 on my Windows NT/Service pack for and began
experiencing the same errors. During my search to figure out what happened and
why I was getting access violation, and general protection fault errors I
discovered a conflict with my pen/digitizer driver. I upgraded the driver and it
seems to have at least reduced the number of crashes. I also find that I need to
reboot my system at least every other day. More often if I am in and out of MI
or using OLE objects in MS office.
