Hi Everyone, thank you for your assistance. One other aspect of the problem I forgot 
to mention, is that a number of buffers overlap each other and they might share or 
have a boundary line separate the two buffers. Therefore I am looking for a solution 
that one know to erase the excess buffer on one side of the market boundary and then 
select the other buffer and erase its excess buffer coverage based on the same market 
boundary. I am looking at completing this process on 5400 buffers, so I am not looking 
forward to the prospect of manual intervention. Thanking you in advance.
