Is the thematic map pie diagrams? If so this is a bug that has been around
since at least MapInfo version 3.0. The only way we have found to get
around it (and not 100% of the time) is to try varying the text sizes of the
legend title and labels. Different text sizes seem to trigger a change in
the size of the legend window.

Hi all,
thanks for all the previous help.
New question.
In my layout window. I display a thematic map and its legend. No matter how
large I make the legend box the actual items are contracted (vertically) so
that I only get a half of the last category). e.g.. 7 categories in a
thematic map I get the first 5 and then half of six and seven is missing.
They are all present on the legend map however, I reposition them and it
still happens.
I have tried to fill contents to window. but it makes no difference.
any ideas
