I am alos using Windows 98, IE5 and MI (4.5) and regularly using ODBC data.
I am not facing any problem in accessing it.
But Remote data is Oracle 7.3 not Access.

Dear List,

I upgraded yesterday my Web Browser to Ie5 and I have experimented a lot of
problems (Iam currently running win98). Is seam that Ie5 install new ODBC
Stuff (like mdac_typ) and MapInfo seem no longer working with ODBC Table. I
found a new mdac_file on microsoft site but it was not working at all..
(Odbc with MapInfo does work anymore and All our ASP files that call ADO
connection to a Access Database doesnt work. We couldnt go back (I mean
uninstalling Ie5 doesnt solve the problem). So I wonder if anyone have had
the same problem ? Am I an isolate case?... the only solution I found is to
make a hard drive format c:\ (urgh!) :(

Be aware if you plan to install ie5.
