I want to ask some comparison questions about Maptitude w/ Mapinfo

I've used ArcView and ArcInfo as GIS packages and Microstation and AutoCAD
as CAD and never used Maptitude,
But I had some ideas from the discussions.

so what I want to learn about Maptitude is:

1. What is Maptitude's behaviour in large data?
For example I can easily open 500 MB data with a 16 MBRAM Pentium 200 Laptop
PC in MapInfo with no swapspace requirement. Which is not easy/possible in
ArcInfo and ArcView.
Is it possible in Maptitude?

2. I'can easily open big raster images that none of the image process
program can open within same hardware configuration. (The last try is total
4.7 GB Tiff (50 files) in the same mapper as mosaic, and I think it is
possible to open 50 GB if you have that much disk space). Is it possible in
Maptitude.

3. When editing big file ( whole buildings of a city approximately),
~30 MB coverage , add a line and save, ArcInfo needs approx 1 hour
(with SunSparc 20, 96 MB ram in 1997)
~80 MB table, add a line and save, MapInfo needs 2-5 seconds with any
            Pentium PC with any configuration.
How about Maptitude?

4. You can open limited number of files in ArcInfo and Microstation . Bu
Mapinfo and Arcview can open hundreds of files.

5. You can write small but very useful macros in MI Mapbasic and ArcInfo AML
with very short learning time and very very short coding time. So you can
work 5 hr in a day but your computer works 24 hr for you.
In ArcView usually look for a extension or script written for you by a
genious, like Microstation MDL. What about Maptitude Application development
and Macro Language support.

....

thanks for any response, i will be very grateful .
