This has been a nagging feature of layout dimensions in a workspace. I have
not found a way to generate other units than inches. It is however possible
to "write" to the layout in cms, for example. i.e. to place and size objects
using metric measurements; I have a barscale drawing program that does that,
but as soon as the layout is saved in a workspace, all is in inches.
I have not tried 5.5 or that feature; it is not there, could be something to
add tothe wishlist.
