There is a stand alone application called MapInfo Line Style Editor (MILISTED), that used to be downloadable from www.mapinfo.com. I couldn't find it at the moment, but maybe somebody can point it out.

I am having a problem figuring out how to create a custom pen pattern that does not involve

any of the existing patterns (i.e. something completely different). It seems that there is no way to do this, which I find very bizarre.
