Well, there seems to be at least a few of us going to MapWorld this year. There have
been a few
suggestions flying around about how to spot each other, ranging from wooly hats (might
be a little
hot) to red carnations (might look like we're all on a blind date). Unless anyone has
a better
suggestion, I thought I'd printed a couple of sheets of small stickers saying "I'm on
mapinfo-L" or
similar, and pin the sheets to the noticeboard which is usually in the registration
area. The
stickers should be small enough to fit neatly on the conference badges (assuming MI
have stuck
to the same format) and will hopefully be clear enough for people to see.
How does this sound?
