There's an article that discusses how to fix bow-ties and other
topological pathogens on our FTP site now called selfint2.zip.
It's not in the index yet, but you can download it directly from
http://www.ctmap.com/mapinfo/selfint2.zip. This is a MapWorld
article (in Word 6) contributed by Bill W. of MapInfo tech
support.
In remembering Sol Katz and his efforts at bringing free
translators to the world, Bill also sent us a utility that
converts ESRI-style TIFF World Files (TFW) into MapInfo tables
called TFWRead.mb. I've compiled it and zipped both the source
and mbx together into a file called tfwread.zip, which is now in
the same directory as selfint2.zip.
