I have encountered the same problem in a workspace with USA, street, and vector
tables. All layers saved fine in the geoset with the exception of the street layers.
I contacted the MapX Technical Support people and they say it works fine (seems to be
one of their favorite responses, actually).
I am constantly opening these exact same layers in MapX from a geoset that I've
created from there and it works great. I can also open the geoset in MapInfo and it
OPENS fine, but even after it loads itself it won't save the street layers. Same
error that you encountered.
I have racked my brain but have come up with no possible explanation. If anybody has
any clues on this one, it sure would be nice.

Subject: MI Geoset in Mapinfo
hello mappers,
I came across a more recent problem. While making a geoset in
mapinfo using geoset.mbx . I got an error message for one particular layer (
although there are about 5 to 6 layers in my geoset ). The error reads,
layer xyz is not supported by MapX and will not be written
to the geoset
and for all others it is written the type = Native ??
What would be the prob ?
Thanx in advance.
Cheers,
Jayprakash.A
