Sorry if this is a repeat. I got a message back from my sys admin saying they had a problem and for me to resend my mail. So here it is (again?) Hi All We use the HP 2500 for all our oversize MapInfo plots. We ran a sample image plot when we first got the plotter in Nov 97. One year later, the ink was very badly faded to the point of being unacceptable. Back then , we didn't worry to much about long term plots. Now, our customers are plotting more stuff for display. These need to last longer then one year. My question. Do any of you out there with plotters use the new UV ink that they sell for the plotters. If so, have you been doing it long enough to see if there is a difference in fading. I want to change over to the UV ink, but not if there is little difference.
