I hope that the Northwood Geoscience people will get round to putting kriging or some other geostatistical algorithms into Vertical Mapper so that this functionality will be available. The only options I believe you have are: * SPLUS - you're using that already * GSLIB (Geostatistical Software Library) * VarioWin A good resource for geostatistical software available from the web is at http://www.lib.ox.ac.uk/internet/news/faq/archive/geology-faq.geosci-resourc es.part2.html Scroll down and look under 'mathematics and geostatistics' If there is an option currently available in MI for creating variograms (and performing kriging) then I'd too be interested in finding out!
