As far as I am aware there is currently no way to create variograms in MI.
I hope that the Northwood Geoscience people will get round to putting
kriging or some other geostatistical algorithms into Vertical Mapper so that
this functionality will be available.

The only options I believe you have are:
* SPLUS - you're using that already
* GSLIB (Geostatistical Software Library)
* VarioWin

If there is an option currently available in MI for creating variograms (and
performing kriging) then I'd too be interested in finding out!
