Not sure about the $99 add on thing. The MI ProViewer freebe we have downloaded and
are using will not open a TAB file that uses a MrSID image. MI Pro does (with free
add on file from the Lizardtech website). Just would like to have access to the same
TAB files with both programs, using the same SID image files. Unless I have something
configured wrong, it is not possible right now. Just wondering if MI will provide a
patch or new version of MI ProViewer that will support it someday. MrSID is a huge
improvement over TIF or JPEG, and we anticipate converting all our current raster
images to it. By the way, the free ProViewer program is a GREAT idea, and we are
going to use it within our organization to view data we have developed with our 2
seats of MI Pro.
