Hello, I have developed a utility in Mapbasic 5.0 that allows a user to automatically position a browser Window in the bottom left hand corner of a layout. The routine calculates the frame size and position by detecting the number of rows and columns in the browser. This works fine when the user displays from record number 1 in the browser. However my positioning is incorrect when the user, for example, displays only from record 10 onwards as this reduces the number of records to be put on the layout. Does anyone know how I can detect which row is the first one displayed in the browser window? Mapinfo obviously knows the answer, as it displays "records 16-31 of 50" in the status bar but how can I call this from MapBasic? Any help would be gratefully received.
