Milford, Delaware-EverMap Company, LLC. announces availability of EverName
version 1.21, its automated cartographic labeling placement software.
EverName is an advanced and yet easy-to-use label placement and optimization
software for creating quality labeling and annotation text for map
generation.
EverName is available as an add-on tool for MapInfo Professional. ArcView
version of EverName is scheduled for release in August this year.
EverName automatically determines the best places for map features names and
resolves label conflicts. EverName optimizes label positions based on
user-defined rules, priority, text size and is able to produce output with
minimum number of overlaps/conflicts between labels. Using EverName results
in dramatic savings on map production costs and reduces production time by
more than 50%.
Version 1.21 contains the following new features:
- Enhanced polygon labeling rules / controls.
- Advanced label content controls: case style, smart character spacing and
filtering, ability to define prefixes & suffixes, keyword-based filter.
- More user interface improvements.
- Trial version processing limit has been increased up to 200 objects to make
it useful for small projects.
- Bug fixes
The current version of EverName is able to process points and polygonal map
features. EverName Pro, with ability to label linear map elements is expected
to be available in July.
