To whom ever this may reach/concern,
I am a relitively new user of the MapInfo Professional Software. A
particular question I have in regrds to this software is whether or not it
has the capibilities of taking/reading and displaying an image, specifically
a geotiff image, that has used a jpeg compression factor t store the file.
The users manual did not seem to cover this type of subject. I know that it
is possible to view other types of images, tiffs, jpegs, etc with this
software but I am not aware of any if at all capibilities that it has for
reading/recognizing a jpg compressed geotiff image.
Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.
