MI Custom Symbols

Hello,

 

I think that this has come up quite recently, but I have had real problems importing custom symbols to MapInfo v5.0.

The symbols I am trying to import are bitmaps of less than 256 colors, less than 10k and only 32x32 pixels.

You can see them in the Windows explorer window in Custsymb, but when you look for them (after hitting reload) in MapInfo symbol select they don't appear.

 

Can anyone tell me how to get the symbols into MapInfo without importing them as raster images?
