Greetings All: I thought I saw a thread (in the last couple of months) about recent, free zip code boundaries. Can't seem to find it in the Archives. WWW.USPS.GOV doesn't have any files (points or polys) available. There are files available from the Census Bureau but their documentation states that it is 1990 vintage so as to match the vintage of the official census data. I have a boundary file that apparently came from MapInfo circa 1992, but a lot has changed in 7 years. I also have a point file from circa 1996. Exact origins of both are unknown. Anybody know of anything (points or polys) that's free and newer??? ...thanks ....Bob Robert Karr Science Research Assistant Science and Technology Division Legislative Service Bureau Michgian State Legislature 124 West Allegan, 4th Floor POB 30036 Lansing, MI 48909-7536 Voice : 517-373-3028 FAX : 517-373-0171 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this list, send e-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and put "unsubscribe MAPINFO-L" in the message body, or contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
