I had the same issue come up at work for me just recently - a colleague
accidently sent me a copy of an email he had written to his girlfriend - it
was extremely personal.  

I did, what you would hope, any sensible, intelligent person would do if
they opened something that was not to their interest - I simply deleted the
email and said nothing more of it....and then got on with my life.  All of
which took about 2 minutes out of my life, from start to finish....

It is true, the Mapinfo forum was not a suitable place for the message to
be..  However, as you've explained it was a mistake, and as much as we
would like to claim that none of us have made the same mistake, I myself
have seen it happen in the past.  Mistakes do happen - people should simply
get over the fact that it was not meant intentionally.
