first of all, sorry for my english but you know the difficulties of the
froggies !
In the Town Planning Agency of the greater Lyon we use :
- MapInfo V 4.52 in french
- A Fiery Canon 4500 (postscript level 2) with the Canon CLC800
- A Fiery V50 (postscript level 3) with a canon CLC920
- The new canon CP 600 (postcript level 3 an PCL)
- 2 A0 printers :
- an OC� 52000 with 82 Mo of RAM
- an Encad novajet pro with a Wisp Postscript
with all these printers we have 2 postscript problems :
- problems with raster. It is not possible to print some raster
information at a certain scale. This problem occurs with postscript
level 2 or 3. It seams to depend of the ppd (postscript description of
the printer).
- problems with vector information. Sometimes, we don't know the
reason why, it doesn't print !
And now, with the canon CP660, in PCL, vectors problems occurs.
What can I do ? My 50 MapInfo users don't want to stop working !
