Yasir, I think I know an answer to your question. What I often do is print the map to a printerfile. I select a specific Postscript-printer and in the properties I choose an Encapsulated Postscript file (EPS) and I select the tic-box 'print to file'. You will get a .prn file, but rename it to .eps and this one you can import in Publisher. I hope this will help you a bit further.
