I have even had a hard time getting these subscriptions that are supposed
to come after you join AAG or URISA! Finally I wrote a nasty note, and I
now get GeoInfo Systems. I still don't get the other two, although my
company has theoretically paid for them.
I actually really enjoy Business Geographic and Government Technology
magazines, which are free if you qualify. The GeoInfo Systems is often
project oriented, I prefer reading about elegant solutions. If you have
been involved with the projects they write about, you discover they seldom
get to the substance. You will get some of the business news and press
releases. But there are better sources for that. The worst of these
magazines are the ESRI is Great! Type articles you get with ArcNews or
ArcUser. Stay away. Space Imaging, if you use imagery, has a good magazine
called Imaging Notes. Directions on-line thing is promising, as you all
probably know.
