Hi We're really pleased with our initial use of Mapnik and are hoping to bring it in to the next stable release of UrbanSim (www.urbansim.org), but we're moving to Python 2.6 on all platforms, and Mapnik does not seem to have a Python 2.6 build for Windows.
Is there any prospect of building Mapnik for Python 2.6 on Windows in the next couple of weeks? It works so well that I really want to include it in the upcoming stable release. I could offer to help, but we don't really have anyone who is a windows developer, and are relying on pre-built packages on that platform. Thanks. If I can help in some way, let me know. Maybe I could fund a few hours for someone to generate the build? Best, Paul
